The 2014 Future of Tennis Summit and the Tennis Industry Association are pleased to announce Jim Courier as one of the summit’s featured speakers.
In an ATP career spanning 13 years, Jim Courier won four Grand Slam singles crowns, 23 ATP singles titles, reached the #1 world ranking, was a member of two winning United States Davis Cup teams and is one of 15 men in the history of tennis to reach the finals of all four major championships. He was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in July of 2005.
He remains active in the tennis world today as an avid competitor on the PowerShares Series tennis circuit and an analyst on the broadcasts of the four majors for various networks including CBS, Tennis Channel, ITV and Channel 7 Australia. He currently serves as the Captain of the United States Davis Cup Team, a position he has held since 2011.
In 2004 he co-founded InsideOut Sports & Entertainment. The firm owns and operates tennis tournaments and events worldwide, including the PowerShares Series circuit, Legendary Nights tennis exhibitions and private corporate outings. InsideOut has produced over 50 tennis tournaments and exhibitions since inception and has a strong commitment to charity with over $4.0 million net dollars generated for InsideOut Event charity partners.
Jim resides in Orlando and New York City with his wife Susanna.
